The problem

There’s not enough representation for working-class people in American government. But running for office is expensive, time-consuming, and all about who you know—it’s hard to get a seat at the table.

The impact

Too many elected officials continue to cater to special interests—ignoring the needs of everyday people and small businesses. Hardworking Americans struggle to make ends meet while corporations and the ultra-wealthy skirt paying their fair share.
