About us
Working Class Americans supports working-class people running for public office because we believe these voices deserve to be in the room where decisions are made. We raise money and awareness to elevate our endorsed candidates as serious players in competitive elections across the country.
Our Values
Representation Matters
Leadership should be shaped by lived experience, not just credentials or connections. We believe working people and small business owners deserve real representation from leaders who understand their lives, their communities, and the consequences of policy decisions firsthand.
Economic Justice
An economy should reward work and responsibility, not just wealth or influence. We support leaders who understand the pressures facing working families and small businesses, and who believe fairness and accountability must apply to everyone.
Grassroots Power
We believe durable political change starts with people, not institutions. Our work is rooted in communities, relationships, and leaders who show up—leaders we would welcome at the kitchen table and trust to represent their neighbors with care and integrity.
Courage to Lead
We support leaders who understand the responsibility of power and the gravity of this moment. Leadership willing to question outdated systems, challenge concentrated power, and pursue meaningful change when the status quo no longer serves working Americans.

Our 2026 Strategy: Winning Wi-03
Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District is one of the most competitive House races in the country and a key opportunity for Democrats on the path to flipping the chamber during the 2026 midterm elections. We’re focused on helping working-class candidates run—and win—in races like WI-03 by providing the resources needed to compete with well-funded opponents.
Working Class Americans has endorsed Democratic candidate Rebecca Cooke, a small business owner and nonprofit leader raised on an Eau Claire dairy farm who understands the challenges facing rural communities and small towns across the district. While running for Congress seven days a week, she also works nights as a waitress. She believes Congress needs more working-class voices—leaders willing to work across the aisle to deliver for working families.
Our strategy in WI-03 centers on developing and delivering clear, values-driven messaging to voters who want meaningful change at the federal level. This race serves as our starting point, with the longer-term goal of building a scalable model for supporting working-class leadership in competitive federal races nationwide.
